Wow…I survived another year of seventh and eighth graders at youth camp! Actually, I can’t complain at all about my cabin of four lovely girls. They were fantastic in many ways. We talked about salvation at the beginning of camp, and all of them were “considering” it. By the end, all four were saved, and I could see real differences in them. One girl has come to Sunday School for years, and just came to Christ. She was, truly, a new creature.
I am convinced once again of God’s incredible goodness. Now, I pray that those who got saved will also be convinced.
I also get to recover from such an exciting week. Although my girls were good and went to bed when I told them too, there’s something about youth camp that is exhausting. No wonder my counselors always thought that a second week was a bad idea!
