Redemptive Power

Josh Hamilton went to rehab 8 times, trying to deal with major drug addictions. He was banned from professional baseball for 3 years.  That was after being the number 1 draft pick in 1999.

But God had plans for redemption, deliverance, and salvation.

You can find his story here. It’s pretty incredible, and a cool testimony to the power of God to turn someone’s life around, redeeming what the enemy intended for evil. The grace of God is all over this, from the initial change to the wisdom to face temptation well and the boldness to share Jesus through it, despite what people may say.

Oh yeah, and he also set a new record at the home run derby as part of the All Star events this week.  I love how God uses anything and everything to point to His own glory and goodness.
