This blog began in college as a record of thoughts, stories, and experiences. That theme continues with documentation of my latest adventure- teaching at Faith Academy near Manila. (That’s in the Philippines in case geography isn’t your favorite subject.)
I’m here as a missionary, which basically means that the school pays for (nothing). As the song says, “All I have needed, [His] hands…provide.” That provision, for now, comes through the generous support of team members who want to be a part of ministry to missionary kids here through me. If that includes you, you can give online at www.onechallenge.org/give. Just put my name in the missionary box and it will go to my account.
More importantly, though, team members support me through prayer. I wish I could recount the many ways I have seen God’s gracious hand putting details into place- crossing the T’s and dotting the i’s- in the last year. Truly, He has answered every prayer, even when it wasn’t what I expected. If you are interested in getting prayer request updates, let me know via a comment here and I’ll add you to the list.
If you want an email or snail mail newsletter 10x/year, add a comment with your email or snail mail address here, too, and I’ll put you on the list. I truly believe that this is a team effort- I’m just the feet on the ground right now.
Love from Manila!
